I grew up in China and have called Vancouver home for over a decade now, long enough that I'm not sure which city taught me to see things the way I do. Before photography, I studied Philosophy and Sociology at UBC, which mostly taught me to ask questions I still don't have answers to. The camera turned out to be a better way of answering them than any essay was.

I take pictures of streets, faces, and cities I've passed through or called home; shot mostly on film, sometimes on digital when the moment moved too fast to wait.
